MagicRooms is conceived and developed by a group of leading players in the travel and IT industry. The team is headed by Niranjan Gupta, the owner of one of Bangalore's leading travel mart chains, and the founder of flightraja.com, India's leading B2B airline booking website. Niranjan is supported by a dedicated group of professionals with over 100 man years of experience in companies such IBM, SAP, Infosys and Wipro. MagicRooms has been funded partly by Nexus Venture Partners.

The company is based in Bangalore, India's leading IT destination.

MagicRooms is headed by Niranjan Gupta, one of Bangalore’s leading luminaries in the travel industry. With his finger always on the pulse of the industry, Niranjan has consistently moved with the times, anticipating trends far ahead of his peers.
It was this vision that saw him setting up flightraja.com, India’s first online airline ticketing site. Flightraja has since evolved into India’s leading B2B online airline ticketing site.

It is the same sense of anticipating market needs that has also led to the setting up of his latest venture, MagicRooms Solutions (P) Ltd., India’s first hotel GDS that actually works in real time. As usual, Niranjan’s new enterprise has generated much excitement in the industry.

Niranjan holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from Bangalore University. He has done his MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA.

We have launched MagicRooms with the firm belief that the time has come for the technology that we have developed and brought to the market. Hotels need to be able to offer all available room inventory till the last minute; while travel agents, OTAs and corporate houses need the convenience of being able to make instant online reservations in real time. MagicRooms will change the way hotel rooms are booked from now on.
